Porella laevis (Fleming, 1828)

Porelloides laevis is recorded from Europe. The species is the type species of the genus Porelloides Hayward, 1979. Porelloides was considered to be different from Porella in having an umbonuloid frontal shield, but subsequently Porella compressa was also found to have umbonuloid frontal development.
