Bidiastopora d'Orbigny, 1849

Type species: Diastopora cervicornis Michelin, 1846 = Diastopora lamellosa Michelin, 1846

The genus Bidiastopora is a subjective synonym of Multisparsa. However, this page is maintained to record some species which need revision.

From the images of the type species in the d'Orbigny Collection, it is clear that this genus does not belong with the Plagioeciidae, and that the Recent species from Australia is not a close relative. Further revision to the web pages will be undertaken - eventually!
