Selenaria initia (Waters, 1883)

Selenaria initia is found from the Miocene of southeastern Australia, and from the Recent of Bass Strait.

The specimen is from Muddy Creek, and shows autozooids, avicularia, a male zooid (top left) and an ovicelled zooid (top centre).
