The family includes the single genus Pacificincola
Colony encrusting or encrusting-erect, orifice subcircular, with wide shallow sinus, Peristome distinct, with proximal raised umbo, and a small circular opening (ascus?) between the umbo and the orifice. Frontal wall uniformly perforate and granulated. Avicularia rare, usually absent. Ovicell hyperstomial, prominent, with imperforate frontal.
