Diplonotos papillatus (Busk, 1884)

Diplonotos papillatus is recorded from Indonesia. The illustrations used here are from Busk (1884); Plate 24, figs 4 and 6. However, some were given inaccurate captions. Some of the confusion was explained by Harmer (1957). Further elucidation was given by Hastings (1966). The unlabelled colony drawing (right centre) is from Plate 13, next to Fig.4, (originally at natural size). This appears also to be Diplonotos papillatus.

The record of Sclerodomus corrugatus by Harmer, 1957, from Indonesia, is partly of this species, not Domosclerus corrugatus. (The other species included is now Diplonotos similis Gordon, 1993.)
