Cucullipora tetrasticha is a fossil from the Tertiary (Miocene) sediments of southeastern Australia. It has also been recorded from the Recent of offshore southern Australia. The specimen illustrated shows a brooding zooid, the only one that I know of. The species has been recorded living from the southern Australian shelf.
