Terebripora sp. is a shell-boring ctenostome from Bass Strait, Australia.
The image is a SEM of an epoxy cast of the borings in a shell, after removal of the shell by acid treatment. Some of the fine "tubes" are the stolons connecting individual zooids in the colony.
