Phonicosia vandiemenensis (Powell, 1967)

Phonicosia vandiemenensis is recorded from off Cape Maria van Diemen, north New Zealand. However, the specimen illustrated is from Bass Strait, Australia.

Original description: Schizoporella vandiemenensis Powell, 1967.
Locality: "Discovery" Stn 935, New Zealand.
Type specimen: BMNH 1964.8.12.49
