Membraniporopsis tubigera (Osburn, 1940)

Membraniporopsis tubigera is recorded widely from Puerto Rico, and has recently been collected from Brazil and New Zealand. The mechanism of dispersal is unknown. The SEM images are generously provided by D.P. Gordon from NIWA.
