Acerinucleus incudiferus is found in the Miocene and Oligocene of Victoria, Australia.

Original description: Cellaria incudifera Maplestone, 1902.
Locality: Spring Creek (Torquay area?), Victoria; Miocene or Late Oligocene.
Type Specimen: NMV P10185
