Encrusting uniserial colony with bifurcating series of large autozooids. Cryptocystal frontal wall ventricose, minutely nodular, convex, rising to a peristome that embraces the orifice and sometimes an avicularian cystid. Sparse pores, possibly opesiulate, distributed across cryptocyst, tiny relative to zooid size. No oral spines. Ovicell produced by distal autozooid, hyperstomial, acleithral, frontal surface imperforate. Gymnocyst-rimmed oval pore-chambers opening along the basal wall at intervals.
