Colony encrusting, unilaminar or multilaminar. Autozooid cryptocyst moderately developed, gymnocyst negligible or absent. Spines absent. Avicularia interzooidal, small, and vicarious, large. Ovicells small, cap-like, endozooidal (After Tilbrook, Hayward & Gordon, 2001)
